PowerSchool is now portable! The PowerSchool for Parents app is available for download from the App Store and compatible with the iPhone®, iPad® , iPod touch® and Droid devices. Parents can easily view each child's progress in a single feed to check grades, review assignments, and more! Also included in both apps is the option for students and parents to share classroom information through Facebook and Twitter.
PowerSchool for Parents provides real-time access to:
- School Announcements
- Assignment Scores
- Teacher Comments
- Final Grades
- Standards Scores
- Citizenship Grades
- Lunch Transactions (if using PowerLunch)
- Fee Transactions
You can also use PowerSchool for Parents to register to receive email alerts for grades, attendance, assignments and more.

Additional Directions for setting up the mobile app: Once you install the app, you will need to add the school manually, instead of search. Add by the server name: http://powerschool.aps.k12. ne.us. (make sure there is no "s" following the http). If it finds Alliance, Public Schools, that's fine, just go to the upper corner (three horizontal lines) and then choose server settings to make any needed changes.
The server settings for the PORT will need to be set to Port 80 with SSL off.
Then, you will be able to log into the Mobile App using your parent login and password and view grades, attendance, lunch balances and more!
